Game Mechanics and Features

Main Win Mechanic

The game centres around two types of Bombs and two types of Lasers, which are key to removing symbols from the grid. Wins occur when paying symbols are destroyed, in accordance with the paytable. Once removed, the payouts are collected in the Total Win Bar located above the grid and are paid out at the end of the spin. A cascading effect takes place, causing new symbols to drop into empty positions after each win. Non-paying symbols do not contribute to any win when destroyed.

  • Bomb and Laser symbols that land on the grid are activated randomly, moving bottom-to-top, right-to-left, and can also be triggered by the effect of other Bomb or Laser symbols.
  • Each Bomb and Laser type destroys symbols in a distinct pattern when activated.

Bomb Effects

  • Small Bomb: Explodes in a 3x3 area centred on the Small Bomb symbol.
  • Big Bomb: Explodes in a 5x5 area centred on the Big Bomb symbol.

Laser Effects

  • X-Laser: Destroys symbols diagonally outward from the centre, in lines one symbol wide to the edge of the grid.
  • Super Laser: Destroys diagonal lines three symbols wide and instantly removes all Shields struck by its path.

Orbital Bombardment

Upon conclusion of cascades, there is a chance that Orbital Bombardment will target 3 to 7 random grid positions. Each strike covers a 2x2 area and may activate any Bomb or Laser symbol it contacts.

Shielded Symbols

Certain symbols are protected by Shields and require repeated hits from Bombs, Lasers (excluding the Super Laser), or Orbital Bombardment to break and activate the symbol. The Super Laser instantly breaks all Shields in its effect area. Shields are found on Multiplier symbols and Free Spin (FS) symbols, marked by a blue Shield icon and the number of hits required.

  • 2-hit Shields protect multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x, 9x, 10x
  • 3-hit Shields protect multipliers of 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x, 250x, 500x

Once a multiplier's Shield is broken, the value is added to the Total Win Bar and multiplies the winnings collected up to that point for the final win calculation.

Free Spins and Bonus Games

Free Spin features unlock when Shields on FS symbols are broken:

  • Alien Attack: Triggered by breaking a Shield on an Alien Mind FS symbol in the base game, awarding 8 free spins. Multipliers activated are stored in a Progressive Multiplier for the duration of the bonus. Breaking the Shield on additional Alien Mind FS symbols awards 2 extra free spins.
