The objective of the Gold Pile™: Orangutan!™ slot is to obtain winning symbol combinations by spinning the reels.

To Play The Game:

  • The number of active paylines is permanently set at 20.
  • The total bet is equal to 10x coin value.
  • On the entry screen, press the START button to start the game.
  • Press the plus and minus buttons to select a total bet.
  • Press the SPIN button to spin the reels with the current bet.
  • Line wins can form on any payline and must appear on adjacent reels, from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Line wins are multiplied by your coin value.
  • Scatter wins can form from symbols in any position. Scatter wins are multiplied by your total bet.
  • On a given payline, only the highest winning combination pays while simultaneous winnings on different paylines are accumulated.

  • Only the highest Scatter win pays.

Gold Pile™ Feature:

  • All symbols, except the Scatter, have a Gold version of the symbol that can only appear on reel 5.
  • The gold meter percentage selected by the player determines the likelihood that a symbol on reel 5 will be the Gold version.
  • The higher the Gold Meter percentage selected, the higher the likelihood that a reel 5 symbol will be the Gold version of that symbol.
  • The player can select a Gold Meter percentage of 20%, 40%, 60%, 80% or 100%.
  • Changes to the Gold Meter percentage do not change the value of the MINI (total bet x 25), MAXI (total bet x 75) or GRAND (total bet x 2500) prize.
  • The Gold version of a symbol contributes to 5-of-a-kind line pays just like the normal version of that symbol.
  • However, 5-of-a-kind line wins that include a Gold version of a symbol on reel 5 and at least one substituting symbol will award either the MAXI or the MINI prize.
  • If the 5-of-a-kind line win is for a 'A', 'K', 'Q', 'J', '10' or '9' pay, the MINI prize will be awarded.
  • If the 5-of-a-kind line win is any other symbol, the MAXI prize will be awarded.
  • If there is a 5-of-a-kind line win that includes a Gold version of a symbol on reel 5 and does not have any substitutes, the Grand Chase Feature will be triggered.

Grand Chase Feature:

  • The Grand Chase Feature is triggered by any 5-of-a-kind line win that includes a Gold version of a symbol on reel 5 and does not include a substituting symbol. The Grand Chase Feature can also be triggered by 5 Wild symbols with the Gold Wild on the 5th reel.
  • More than one Grand Chase Feature can be triggered on different lines from the same spin.
  • 3 spins are awarded.
  • At the beginning of the feature, a frame will highlight the triggering symbol position on reel 5.
  • During each spin, only reel 5 will spin. The reel will only contain Gold triggering symbols and special GRAND symbols.
  • At the end of the spin, if the highlighting frame contains the GRAND symbol, the GRAND prize will be awarded and the feature will end.
  • If highlighting frame contains the Gold trigger symbol, either the MINI or MAXI prize will be awarded.
  • If the triggering line win was for a 'A', 'K', 'Q', 'J', '10' or '9' pay, the MINI prize will be awarded.
  • If the triggering line win was for any other symbol, the MAXI prize will be awarded.
  • The spins will continue until either all 3 spins are played or the GRAND prize is awarded.
  • The feature will then end.

Free Games:

  • When 3 or more Scatter symbols land simultaneously anywhere on the reels, Free Games are triggered.
  • 8 Free Games are awarded.
  • During the Free Games, any 2 Scatter symbols landing simultaneously anywhere on the reels will award 4 additional Free Games.
  • During the Free Games, any 3 or more Scatter symbols landing simultaneously anywhere on the reels will award 8 additional Free Games.
  • During each Free Game, 2 extra Wild symbols will be placed at random positions on reels 1, 2, 3 or 4.
  • Any symbol that lands behind any extra Wild symbol will not be evaluated.
  • The Gold Pile™ Feature and the Grand Chase Feature can be triggered in the Free Games.
  • The Free Games are played with the same bet that was placed on the spin that triggered them.
